Ellen DeGeneres announces return of her talk show on 21 September, promises to address the workplace scandal?

Ellen DeGeneres has announced the date for the return of her talk show following multiple complaints by employees of the show.

The embattled host revealed on Tuesday September 8, that "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will return in-studio for Season 18 with a guest appearance from comedian Tiffany Haddish on September 21.

Kerry Washington, Alec Baldwin, and Chrissy Teigen are set for the first week, with Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Adam Sandler, and Orlando Bloom appearing later in September, the show said.

In the announcement, she seemingly addressed the recent allegations against staff at her show saying: “I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio. And, yes, we’re gonna talk about it.”

DeGeneres was referring to allegations of racism, sexual harassment, and workplace toxicity leveled by current and former staffers of the Television show.

Last month, the show fired three of its top producers, Ed Glavin, Kevin Lema, and Jonathan Norman after allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct.

Hollywood media giants, Warner Bros is still conducting an internal investigation into The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
