A Nigerian music pundit on Twitter has declared that Wizkid’s working relationship with Drake and Beyonce made them popular in Africa.

You would recall that Wizkid worked with Drake on “Come Closer” and “One Dance“, both songs were a big hit in and outside Africa.

The prominence of Wizkid on Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl” was also very obvious and of course the song made hit.

The saying that Wizkid made these two A-List American artistes popular in Africa didn’t sit well with some music lovers.
